For many years now, the Office de Tourisme du Lac du Der has been working alongside the Syndicat du Der to promote the destination’s quality labels – European Destinations of Excellence in 2009, and Station Classée Tourisme since February 2010 (renewed in 2023) – and to support local communities in their beautification efforts.
Classified Tourist Office: Category 1
The classification of tourist offices in France by the Ministry of Tourism is an evaluation system designed to recognize and promote the quality of services provided by tourist offices across the country. Classification enables travelers to choose destinations and tourist offices they can trust, by guaranteeing a certain level of quality and professionalism.
The Office de Tourisme du Lac du Der en Champagne is classified in Category I. Its classification was renewed in January 2019.

The Tourist Office has also renewed its award of the Marque Qualité Tourisme™, in September 2019, which is recognition of the professionalism of all its teams.
