The tip of the Cornée du Der
This Haute-Marne hike is almost 10 km long and can be done on foot or by mountain bike. It takes place almost exclusively in the heart of the Der state forest. In the shade of the tree canopy, it’s pleasant to take to the marked trails in this forest area when the weather’s warm. You’ll also be able to enjoy some lovely views of the lake. You may even catch a glimpse of the port of Nemours on the opposite peninsula. At the start of the trail, you’ll come to the Cornée du Der beach, a popular spot for bathers looking for a quiet beach in the heart of nature.
If you take this path in summer, we advise you to take mosquito repellent with you.
